Stefanie Lewin is an educator, artist, and illustrator based in Brooklyn, NY focused on social justice and equitable access in arts education. She holds an MA in Art Education from the City College of New York and a BA in Art/Art History and Psychology from the College of William and Mary. In addition to her full-time position as Program Coordinator for Creative Art Works, a youth development organization that seeks to empower young people through the visual and multimedia arts, she lectures and teaches workshops at venues around the city. Her personal artistic practice is supplemented with commissioned work including illustrations, album covers, flyers, posters, invitations, and more.

When she is not teaching or drawing, Stefanie enjoys running, spending time in nature, rooting for the Mets, and taking photos of her cat, Captain Augustus (Gus) McCrae. She used to play drums in a feminist punk band and if she were not an art teacher she would be a cowgirl.
